Delete your data
You can remove your data from You Will Know in any of the ways below. None of them require contacting us, unless you want to.
1. Delete your account in the app
Sign in, open Settings, and choose Delete account. This immediately and permanently erases your account and everything in it: drafts, threads, ideas, uploaded media, synced Threads posts, analytics, and access tokens.
To only cut the link to Threads, choose Disconnect next to Threads instead. We delete your access token at once and stop publishing; your drafts and history stay.
2. Remove the app in Threads
- In Threads, open Settings → Account → Website permissions.
- Find You Will Know under Active and choose Remove.
- If Threads offers to send a data deletion request, accept it. We then erase all data we received from Threads (your connection, tokens, synced posts and analytics) and give you a confirmation code. Your You Will Know account and your own drafts and ideas stay until you delete the account.
3. Email us
Write to support@youwillknow.me from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Posts already published on Threads stay on Threads. Delete them in the Threads app.
